Westfield Steel employee competes in Spartan Trifecta

Our very own Tyler Dean competed in the 2018 Spartan Trifecta World Championship in early November. Tyler is a Fabricator in our Westfield, Indiana facility.

This article, published in Tyler’s hometown newspaper, gives more detail about this accomplishment. The company held a fundraiser for Tyler, selling hardhat stickers for $10 each. All of the monies went to Tyler, so he could afford to attend the competition in Greece. The company covered the remaining travel costs.

She is involved in strategic planning related to the Westfield Steel workforce and ensures all employees are thriving in their roles at the company. As customer service is critical to her position, she considers her customers to be our employees. Abby has been on the Westfield Steel team since 2010, and before joining the team Abby worked in HR capacities at Angie’s List and BSA Life Structures. She has an undergraduate degree in management with a focus in human resources from Ball State University and an MBA with a focus in entrepreneurship from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
