For flame cutting, Westfield Steel utilizes CNC oxy-fuel burning equipment from Messer, Koike, and Sector, with a selection of torches that can handle thicknesses from one quarter of an inch up to eight inches. Our flame cutting tables are 12 feet by 40 feet to accommodate large parts and shapes.
The Westfield Steel processing facility is equipped with Messer, Koike, and C&G high-definition CNC plasma cutting machines with a thickness capability from 20 gauge to 2 inches for mild steel on beds measuring 12 feet by 40 feet.
For complex shapes with the highest levels of precision, Westfield Steel’s laser cutting services process sheets and plates of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Our 5,000-watt Cincinnati CL850 CO2 laser sits on a 6-foot by 12-foot table and can cut thicknesses from 26 gauge to one inch.
For offset, straight-line sheet metal cutting, Westfield Steel uses Cincinnati hydraulic shears in two locations with squaring arms for up to half an inch thickness and 12 feet of length.
Westfield Steel offers both mechanical and flame beveling with up to a three-inch bevel depth at 45 degrees for dual, straight-line, and pattern beveling.
