There Are Some Things That Should Never Change
The steel industry has changed like most industries have in the past decade. With the sharp fall and slow rise of the economy and growth in technology, things have simply had to change in both steel production and how we run our internal affairs in the office. Westfield Steel has made changes in the last decade to better align ourselves with customers and their needs, but something we haven’t changed throughout our 30+ years in business is having a receptionist to greet you at the door or on the phone.
Most companies are going away from a front desk person or a front desk in general. Having a receptionist may seem old school to many companies. At Westfield Steel you will always see our receptionist when you visit us. We like giving a positive first impression when you visit and we think that it starts with having a personal interaction. You can meet Judy when you visit our office. She also may be the person you first talk to on the phone when calling our office. She has been in this role for eight years helping clients and our internal team at Westfield Steel.
In a world where things are constantly changing, some things are better off staying the same.
